Bike On Noosa runs a Kids Holiday Bike Camp where they take small groups of riders out for half day adventures to get wild and explore the awesome beginner trails and stunning forest. With a strong emphasis on safety, skills and teamwork your kids will participate in fun, bike-based games and trail side coaching to get riding at the next level. Get arty

If your kids love to get creative with art we have two great recommendations. The Cooroy Butter Factory and Noosa Regional Gallery both host school holiday workshops for kids to enjoy an immersive creative experience. The Regional Gallery’s programs are generally tailored to two age groups, 6-12 years and teens. Be sure to check their websites for upcoming workshop details. And while you’re at the Noosa Regional Gallery, check out the Floating Land affiliate exhibition.

Outdoor cinema

Who doesn’t enjoy kicking back on the deck chair, a box of popcorn and a great flick? The crew at Starry Nights are known for selecting great movies during the school holidays and setting up an outdoor cinema in the park free for families. Keep an eye on the Starry Nights Outdoor Cinema Facebook page for upcoming movie dates and locations around Noosa and we’ll see you there.

Bonus family activities!

Now while it’s all well and good to organise activities just for the kids, for the majority of the holiday you’ll be spending quality time together. If you need some inspiration on what you can do as a family during your stay in Noosaville, we have you covered. We’ve summed up the best family activities in Noosa that are within close reach to your Coco Bay villa. And seeing as though it is Spring and you are in Noosa, most of these activities involve the water – so get out there and enjoy our beautiful destination!

Rock on at the theatre

And for a last bit of fun, if your kids are a little older (from age 13 and above) and you’re up for some toe-tapping nostalgia, head to The J Theatre to see the Rock of Ages the musical. Coming to Noosa for two nights only on 20-21 September before a national tour, the performance captures a slice of big bad Hollywood in the 1980s. Sing and stomp along to classic 1980s’ songs such as Know What Love Is, Feel The Noise, and Hit Me With Your Best Shot as Hollywood legends collide in a crusade to save the Bourbon Room from demolition. If you love the 80s music hits, you’ll love this show. For more info visit The J Noosa.
