The Butter Factory Arts Centre

Located in the Noosa hinterland town of Cooroy, in a converted old butter factory that was built in 1930, The Butter Factory Arts Centre is a creative hub for art exhibitions, workshops and events, supporting and promoting Noosa Shire and surrounds as an arts destination.

Visit the factory to view current art exhibitions from local and touring artists or join a workshop program that caters to all ages, even the kids! This place is much more than an art gallery, it’s a place for the community to come together and learn a new skill under the tutor of the region’s best artisans.

You’ll also find a separate pottery studio and artist-run cooperative gift shop with handmade pottery, jewellery, cards and much more. The Butter Factory Arts Centre is open from Tuesday to Sunday, 10am to 3pm (closed public holidays). Entry is free.
