With the recent news of the cancellation of the Noosa Triathlon (28 Oct-1 Nov) due to COVID-19, all is not lost. If it’s fun, fitness and food you’re looking for, you can still get it all here in Noosa!
Noosa still welcomes you and there are a tri-llion reasons for you to visit our beautiful Noosa Biosphere Reserve in October to November. With Spring in the air, school holidays over and a positive outlook as our border bubble slowly expands, now is the perfect time to plan your visit to Noosa.
A nature lovers paradise
Nature is brimming right now in the Noosa Biosphere Reserve. Whale season continues with a playful migration of humpback whales coming into Laguna Bay and the weather is perfect for a horse or camel ride on the beach in between those training days (yes – we even have camels in Noosa!).
Swim, Ride, Run
Take advantage of the perfect training conditions to work on those PB’s. Take in our scenic backdrop as you swim, ride or run through Noosa. Our calm, protected bays and easy-rolling waves at Noosa Main Beach and around Noosa National Park make the perfect place for an ocean swim. Our National Park tracks provide stunning scenery of Laguna Bay and are a sanctuary for native animals including koalas and wallabies. You might even spot a koala on your run! And if you’re on your bike, follow our Noosa Country Drive as it takes you through Noosa’s beautiful and green countryside. Stop into a village for a coffee or lunch break and see what these small towns have to offer. You really can explore it all here in Noosa.
Rest and recover
Coco Bay Resort is well-equipped with space for your sports equipment and for you to recover after all of that activity. Our 1, 2 and 3 bedroom townhouse-style villas have enough space for you and your friends to comfortably visit as a group. Athletes love staying at Coco Bay Resort for our heated outdoor spa and resort pool and the sauna is always enjoyed as part of their post-activity recovery! Check out our resort facilities and accommodation.
Dine and delight
When you’re not training, you’ve got to experience our river life and restaurants in Noosaville. Noosaville is a laidback spot with stunning river views of the Noosa River and an esplanade lined with shady trees, grassy picnic areas, restaurants and boutiques. During the day (when you’re not training) head out on the still water by hiring a SUP, boat or kayak. In the evening, choose from one of the many stand out restaurants and bars and take in the stunning sunset over the river. These sunsets truly are a sight to behold!
