Walking for Mental Health – July

Coastrek, Australia’s premier hiking challenge for women is on again in 2022. Thousands of wild women (and a few awesome men!) will immerse themselves in nature for an epic adventure of fun, fitness, friends and fundraising. Walk 60km or 30km along Queensland’s spectacular Sunshine Coast, starting at Currimundi and finishing at Noosa Woods. Experience beautiful beaches, secret trails through national parks and jaw-dropping views along the way.

Cooroy Mountain Run – August

A stunningly picturesque course awaits you for the ‘Cooroy Mountain Park – Dash for Cash‘ event on Sunday 21st August.  The fun 5km Trail Run encourages all levels of Trail Runners, from the novice right through to the elite. Be inspired by the beautiful private surrounds and jaw dropping vistas as you negotiate a variety of terrain, including a private jungle single trail.

From the Pedal to the Paddle 

Cycling enthusiasts on the Sunshine Coast can explore the region and enjoy the freedom and safety of over 35 dedicated roadside bicycle lanes and shared pedestrian pathways. The region’s cycle paths range from 30 minutes to 3 hours and cater for fun family outings through an old tunnel to strenuous hill climbs with expansive views of the coast. 

Imagine the thrill and fun of exploring over 60 dynamic mountain bike trails in one region! There are crazy curves for adrenaline junkies and easy loops for all the family. As part of Adventure Sunshine Coast there are eleven trails solely for mountain bikers. Discover half hour to full day options, easy through to difficult rides, and lakeside to mountain fire trails.

Shaw and Partners Hells Gates 38 – June

The Shaw and Partners Hells Gates 38 event will come to Noosa on 4th June with competitive and experienced ski paddlers covering a distance of 38km racing from Mooloolaba to the easternmost point of Noosa Heads National Park before finishing on Noosa Main Beach. 

Hells Gates is one of the best known landmarks of the National Park which paddlers will pass about 4km from the finish. Enduro Festival – July 

The Noosa Enduro off-road cycling festival returns in 2022! Six events will be held over two days with racers riding through Noosa’s stunning hinterland, through stunning trails, tracks, mountains and tablelands while tackling some of the Sunshine Coast’s most difficult terrain with a mixture of gravel, single track and pitted fields.

The Noosa Enduro has something for the avid rider, the beginner and those who really want to push their limits, with elite, mass participation and e-bike categories – and there’s even a race and bike skills sessions for kids.
